SUN-INDUCED AGEING PROTECTION

Polypodium leucotomas acts as a sunscreen as it is effective in defending the skin against harmful UV rays from the sun¹. The skin would be protected from the damaging effects of UVA and UVB rays that could lead to premature skin ageing such as age spots and wrinkling^2,3,4.

FIRM & YOUTHFUL SKIN

Polypodium leucotomas enhances the stimulation of collagen and skin elasticity which would improve skin resilience⁴. Daily supplement of Brillar^® would result in supple and plump-looking skin.

SKIN REPAIR

Polypodium leucotomas repairs cells damaged from the sun by improving the integrity of cell membranes⁵. It also protects fibroblast and collagen in the skin from breaking down^4,5. Nicotinamide increases the amount of NAD+ in the body which enhances cellular repair⁶. Blueberry extract with its antioxidant property reduces skin damage from oxidative stress in the body^7,8. SKIN LIGHTENING EFFECT

L-cysteine in Brillar^® provides skin lightening effect by stimulating the production of glutathione in the body⁹. Glutathione on its own, if orally ingested, would be digested immediately and be eliminated before it could exert its use¹⁰. Glutathione has the tendency to inhibit the production of dark melanin resulting in a fairer and even skin tone¹¹.
